  BPD Global is the charity spin-off of Black Pound Day, founded by Swiss, the founder of Black Pound Day. Same founder, same energy, now pointed at the community: BPD Global focuses on community engagement and empowerment. Its charitable purpose is relieving unemployment, with help finding work, peer-led support sessions and business and employment workshops.

  Guardian Ballers

  Community

  Guardian Ballers is dedicated to empowering young people through engagement in basketball activities, education around mental and emotional wellbeing and facilitation of practical experiences to serve local communities and charitable organisations. The organisation targets young people from areas of socio-economic disadvantage, as well as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, with a minimum of half of their participants being female. Guardian Ballers works to tackle disparities in mental health, physical activity and societal leadership statistics among their targeted populations. They provide a holistic approach that combines physical activity with education and community service, helping young people develop their identity, improve their wellbeing and contribute positively to society.

  Kwanda

  Community

  Kwanda is a community-driven organisation that brings together members of the African diaspora to fund and support local projects across Africa and the Caribbean. The organisation focuses on empowering local entrepreneurs and communities by providing the necessary resources and capital to address long-term challenges and create sustainable solutions. Kwanda pools donations from its members to fund various community-led projects. These projects range from building clean water wells and supporting local businesses to providing scholarships and sustainable menstrual products. Kwanda emphasises transparency and community involvement, allowing members to vote on which projects to fund and track the impact of their contributions.
