In Support Of Diane Abbott
Community, 1 min read
CashBlack strongly condemns the abhorrent, racist, misogynistic and violent comments made about Diane Abbott MP.
The apathy and denial of their seriousness shown by many highlights exactly why we, as an organisation, feel the need to exist. Below are some organisations who care far more about these issues than the government of the day did. As always, cashback donations made to them by our members are matched by CashBlack.
- Dope Black Women: a non-profit organisation empowering Black women and non-binary people through digital and in-person safe spaces for celebration, inspiration, education and healing.
- Imkaan: the UK's only national Black feminist umbrella organisation addressing violence against Black and minoritised women and girls.
- She Is You: a platform that nurtures young women to thrive in their personal and professional lives, bridging the gap from where they are to where they want to be.
- Sistah Space: a specialist charity supporting African and Caribbean heritage women affected by domestic and sexual abuse.
